James Rogers Architects, Inc. was founded in 1997 with the express intent to design and construct buildings of integrity, quality and substance. The founding principal, James C. Rogers, III, A.I.A. launched the firm after fifteen years of learning and applying the principal: "first and foremost, serve your clients to your best ability and they in turn will help you grow".

The firm specializes in designing custom residential architecture from the simplest utilitarian garden shed to large multi-building private estates and multi-unit housing developments. The firm provides full architectural services, specializing in preservation and restoration architecture, in addition to interior design, planning and construction management services. The firm also offers small commercial and recreational facility planning and design services.
